WHO WE ARE
WE ARE ON A MISSION
The Bush Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is a nonprofit, volunteer group of parents, guardians, grandparents, and Bush staff. We help bridge the relationship between parents and teachers to foster collaboration for the benefit of our children. We are dedicated to enhancing the academic journey of all Bush Bobcats by providing additional learning opportunities and fulfilling the needs of our students, teachers and staff.
WHAT WE FUND
SO THAT OUR CHILDREN THRIVE
learning TOOLS
From Chromebooks for the tech lab, to math manipulatives and books for the classroom, to grade-level learning apps subscriptions, and sensory equipment for Special Education students, our Bush PTO provides tools that enhance our student's learning.
FIELD TRIPS
We fund field trips for all grade-levels, including entry fees to field trip locations, and on occasion, bus fees to/from trips. We also pay for in-house field trips at school twice a year for all students, such as the Learning Zoo and the Raptor Show.
fine arts
We provide our Music and Art departments with tools and supplies so that our students can maximize their creativity. Items we've funded have included ukeleles, microphones, clay, fabric, paint, etc.
campus improvements & beautification
We prioritize improving our playground and making sure all areas of our school are in top condition. That includes purchasing playground equipment, maintaining the landscaping, and decorating the entryway of our school.
staff appreciation
We love our teachers and staff! We plan and host monthly luncheons, seasonal treats, and activities for Teacher Appreciation Week. We also provide each grade level with grants to purchase supplies, technology and/or other items they may need for their classroom.
MISSION STATEMENT
To provide programs, curriculum, and experiences that enrich the learning opportunity for every child through unique partnerships with Bush families, staff and our local community.
